Motorola E815: Motorola being the second largest mobile manufacturer, is on the carriers support list for long time. Since the introduction of V Cast, Verizon is looking for cell phones which could support its high profile network. E815 by Motorola was the perfect choice for Verizon.
The flip cell phone measures 3.7x1.9x1 inches and weighs a little above 4.5 ounces. E815 is available in silver and gray combination color with exterior retractable antenna. There is a LED flash below on the left. The camera is just above the exterior screen of the flip handset.
The exterior 1.5 inch screen displays approximately 4000 colors and displays info just like a typical external screen. Inside there is an eye catching 2 inch sharp LCD which can process more than 260K colors. The keypad is comfortable to work around with, so do the navigational control keys.
E815 include various features to talk about. Beside its 3G V Cast capability, the cell phone supports Bluetooth and TransFlash card of 256MB.
The cell phone 1.3 megapixel camera produce snaps of excellent quality and not only that it gives you variety of options to change resolution according to your needs. The video clips, on the other hand is not compatible with the cell phone's overall quality performance.
The audio media playback capabilities seem to work fine. The mini speaker also let you hear songs and mp3s at a good quality.
The battery life of E815 has a talk time of up to 5 hours and approximately 11 days on standby.
The over all performance of this dual-band cell phone is good. The call reception and quality is crystal clear with EV-DO connection. However the cell phone lags behind from its rivals at certain features. Most of the customers want a high quality voice reception and that what Motorola E815 offer.
