Motorola V551

Motorola V551: Motorola has a trend of providing users with cell phones that are having high end features for a very low cost. The famous V series is just following the trend and today we are about to review V551, a cell phone which clearly outclassed every other cell phone in terms of its cost benefit ratio.
The flip open V551 is a sleek colorful handset with perfect physical dimensions. The cell phone is externally blue and metallic combination color which looks really cool.
The external screen is monochrome and is capable of showing the basic information of time, caller id, signal and battery strength etc. Again, the blue color on black screen makes the cell phone look wonderful. The camera rests above the monochrome screen. The left spine has a multipurpose key known as "Smartkey" which is able to perform many functions. Volume rocker lie alongside. On the right spine we have Voice key. The external hardware connectors are conventionally at the bottom of the cell.
The internal screen is clear and good. It is capable of displaying up to 65000 colors at a resolution of 176x220. The 5 way navigational key is surrounded by well spaced numeric keys which are responsive most of the time.
The VGA camera V551 contain has good results with snaps for which the internal screen acts as a view finder. 15 second video recording capability is just a formality. You wont be embarrassing yourself in front of friends by recording poor quality small clips.
Like most of the modern cell phones, Motorola V551 is not meant for music playing. In fact back in 2004 when the cell phone was first announced, there was no trend of having a MP3 player cell phone, at all.
The 820mAh Li-Ion battery of V551 runs for just below 4 hours while talking continuously and more than 200 hours while in standby state.
The overall performance of this quad-band is absolutely great. Specially, considering the features provided for the small amount of price, Motorola rocks again.
