Samsung L320
With the L320, Samsung unveils a sleek mobile phone with the female demography in mind. It is part of Samsung's La Fleur collection which also includes the Samsung L310. Its design utilizes the smooth operating clamshell type blueprint with dual screens (OLED and TFT) which exudes femininity and modern metropolitan chic. The OLED display works as an external screen to allow quick viewing of information when the clamshell is closed. Once opened, the internal screen of 1.9 inches with up to 65k colors is revealed in all its 176 x 220 pixel glory. I'm guessing the clamshell body would be a definite hit among the female consumers as they can easily drop their mobile phones inside their purses or handbags among other things, without the need to purchase additional protective shells or silicone cases to keep their phones from getting nicked or scratched.
The L320's small size alone obviously takes its cue from the female hand's generally smaller anatomy. It sports a two-tone colored casing with ample features inside. This includes functions developed for the woman on the go such as a calculator for calorie consumption, a shopping list system and even a fragrance type feature that determines what fragrance best suits the user depending on the favorite food and beverages that the user lists. Samsung may have gone the sexist route with this outing but nevertheless the Samsung L320 could be a definite must have for discriminating women for its sleek design alone.
Samsung L320 Camera and Display
Of course this would not be a lady's phone without a camera. And the Samsung L320 does not disappoint, for who would ever want to disappoint a woman. The L320 has an integrated 2 mega pixel camera that can take still pictures and record
video as well. When using the camera functions of the L320, the large internal screen doubles as a viewfinder. The phone also comes with its own selection of camera settings and features that should allow you to capture that perfect moment every time. Then after all that picture taking, you may enjoy viewing your images of up to 1600 x 1200 pixels while listening to your choice of tunes with the integrated music player of the L320. And the user can also create profiles for their contacts so every time you receive a call from someone on your contact, his or her picture is displayed on the screen.
As you may have read earlier, the L320 does have video recording capabilities. But this proves to be not its strongest suits. Nonetheless it is nice to know that the function is there, in case the need for it arises.
Samsung L320 Design and Accessories
Design and stylishness was obviously on the minds of Samsung's developers when making the L320. For how else can you entice a woman into taking a closer look and owning a mobile phone if not for nice, clean lines and dependable functions? The L320 comes with Bluetooth technology so connecting your compatible peripherals like printers, headphones 
and laptops wirelessly should be achieved effortlessly. And the Samsung L320 does so even with the handset at ten meters away. What's more, this wireless feature means less clutter to deal with. This feature must be another plus for the female demography. For faster data transfers from your computer to the L320, and vice versa, you may choose to make the most of its USB connection.
The USB support is only version 1.1 though, so one may think that filling up the phone's 20 megabytes of internal memory might take some time. But this is not the case as the L320 supports GPRS and the EDGE technology, so you can transfer your data files at very high speeds. And if 20 megabytes of internal memory space is not enough for you, the phone's memory is expandable using the memory card slot according to one's needs.
The Samsung L320 also hosts the XHTML and the WAP 2.0 Browser, two much used application for today's mobile phones, so checking for emails and working online on the fly should be a cinch. Support for text messaging and multimedia messaging is also featured as is already the standard in even entry level handsets. The predictive text capability is great for when typing messages on the go, so you no longer suffer the embarrassment of sending a poorly composed message.
As of press time though, the talk time and standby time of the battery is yet to be announced. This is rather suspicious as I'm pretty sure it does not take much to acquire this much needed data.

Overall: Overall, the Samsung L320 and the rest of the Samsung La Fleur collection do a nice job of putting together form and function in their mobile phones that fit perfectly with the modern woman's needs. The L320 could benefit from more functionality but as it is, it already is a nice piece of gadget that the female buyers would definitely love to have.
