Samsung SGH-X700

Samsung SGH-X700: Samsung X series has come up with few handsets that left their mark on cell phone markets. X600, X100, and X210 and a lot more in the X series assembly line, were equipped with latest features as well as tested with new innovations. Today X700 is the handset we would be reviewing.
The candy bar X-700 is somewhat similar to other cell phones like X620. The cell phone is sleek and slim and available in black and silver combination. The matt finish of X-700 makes it look more sophisticated and business class hand set.
The LCD is brilliant and impressive. The massive 1.9 inch screen can display more than 260K colors. The LCD screen various features like brightness, contrasts, color levels can be controlled to make it more user efficient.
The keys on the pad are widespread. Typing text messages are very easy and you won't press the wrong key often because of good amount of space in between the keys.
The 1.3 megapixel camera on the back of X-700 has good results with snaps. However it is not equipped with built in flash. Recording short video clips are also no problem for X-700. There is a mirror along side the camera lens to support self portraits.
The multimedia entertainment features are also included. X-700 can play MP3s at good quality. The built in two speakers (on both sides of the cell phone) are also having good audio output. On the software side, the multimedia player lacks equalizer settings which seem to be a good leap back from teen's point of view.
Micro SD feature and Bluetooth are also there so memory and synchronization with PC is no problem at all. Just to mention that cell phone is equipped with just 35mb of onboard memory. The 900mAh capacity battery is capable of running X-700 for more than two days.
We didn't found any problem with the signal reception or call making and receiving. The overall performance of X-700 is stunning as compared to its price ranging between $250 to $400, on the day of release.
