Sony Ericsson W810i: Being the pioneer of mobile phones with walkman capabilities, Sony Ericsson still leads the mp3 marathon. Sony Ericsson gained a lot of market with the introduction of W800. W810i is the next one in the assembly line. The W810i enriched kit provides you everything to run the cell phone smoothly. This 97gram device fits well in anybody's palms with dimensions 100x46x19.5 mm. W810i comes in only one color and that is charcoal black.
W810i has 2 mega pixel camera lens at the back and shutter at the right side, so the picture quality is obvious considering 2MP. Want to take pictures in the dark? Don't worry coz flash is also built in W810i. Hardware of W810i is very much sophisticated, with everything placed in right. Battery charger and stereo headphones shares their jack in the bottom conventionally. IRD module is very much near as well. Slot for the SD card is on the upper left side and speaker shares its place at the back, with the camera.
The diagonal 1.9' screen can display up to 256k colors at resolution of 176x220 (30x38 mm). Fingers always rise at joysticks of Sony Ericsson coz they become non-working as dust get into them. W810i is however free of this problem because it has navigational keys instead of joystick.
Sound quality and the software reliability have no issues in W810i. The 900mAh battery has about 9 hour of talk time and about 300 hours. The recharge time is quiet remarkable at 1 and a half hours.
Synchronization with pc is via IRD, Bluetooth or USB 2.0 with the help of Disk2Phone CD included in the package. The overall performance of W810i as a multimedia cell phone is perfectly good. And will be a best seller because of its overall benchmark results.
